Message Since my last post of my TT turbo upgrade install (again thanks to the following people, Stephen, Peter, Mike, Kevin,Bernie and Greg and Seb, TT.NET for all the knowdlege and time and parts) Ive helped complete a few other projects. Kenny who bought my friends NA spun a bearing in his motor wile at school. Kenny trailored his car back to VA from Tennessee. Kenny and I discussed a big plan with our other friend Stephen. The original plan was to source a NA motor pull the spun bearing motor and put sourced donor motor in. After some talk we all decided to ditch the NA idea and go with a twin turbo motor. A Local parts store near me, the guys that work there drive Nissan's and one of them just happend to wreck his twin turbo and pulled the motor out of it and sat at his house for some time and had no plans with it. I asked if he would be willing to sell it if it was in good running order and he was ok with letting it go. Kenny bought it and brought it to Stephens house where we all got together and started the NA-TT project. The NA-TT swap was fun as we replaced alot of gaskets, timing belt, did a few upgrades like injectors ecu, boost controller ect. It was cool to See a Once NA that was slow, go to what it is today. After we all completed Kenny's car I was a little busy for awile and ran off with my Wife now and got Married in VA Beach. Once we got back from getting Married Stephen and I started his project. He also had a NA Z but a Z31. Ive known Stephen for years ever since before I had my black emerald 94 TT and we have always talked about doing a Turbo Swap, Or a NA-T build. Stephen who is a Z31 fanatic wanted to do a NA-T build because of the compression in the NA pitons. We pulled his motor out because it also had a bottomend problem with rod knock. Stephen and I Tore it down, and thats when the fun started. We rebuilt it using a turbo Crank and Rods from a Turbo motor he had laying around (Same as the NA but with out any bottomend issues) He ordered new bearings, bolts, gaskets, and we started the rebuild. Once the motor was all together again and the factory turbo system installed we dropped it back in. Stephen then fabbed intercooler piping and a fmic setup and has been driving it on 7psi on the stock t3 turbo for a few months now with no problems. Its just about broken in and soon wants to do Nistune and bigger injectors and turn the boost up to about 12psi on high boost, 8psi on low boost and car should put down a little over 300whp. Ok enough talking onto the pics.

My TT: When i decided to upgrade turbos this is when my inspection died.

To think at the end of 2010 we started these projects and at the end of 2011 all of the cars are on the road, driven, inspected and back to enjoying the Z life.

I really Would like to Thank everyone for helping me on my car, And for letting me help on their cars as well.
